MERCURIAL SUPPORT

Plant remedies associated with Mercury seek to support the mind + improve focus. Many are also associated with its more spiritual aspect, with cosmic messages + moving between worlds of consciousness.

  • pulsatilla, cedar, celery, clover, geranium, gotu kola, ginkgo, fenugreek, green coffee, honeysuckle, lady’s slipper, lavender, licorice, lily-of-the-valley, lion’s mane, matcha, meadowsweet, mulberry, parsley parsnips, pomegranate, rosemary, sassafras, saw palmetto, + tulsi.

In addition - mental + physical exercise especially those that involve coordination as well as breathwork, voice work, throat chakra nourishment, speech therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, journaling + good nutrition are all super supportive.

To counter conditions that are overly Mercurial we can look to nervines (like Skullcap, Hops, Reishi or Milky Oats), Venus + Neptune treatments to balance + soothe too much tension as well as Saturn vibes to bring stability when needed.

Watch your thoughts. Observe rather than identify. Ask yourself… do I know this to be true?

MERCURY DAY

Mercury rules Wednesday. A good day for work + communication, connect to a mentor, learn a language, express yourself, connect with someone for business on one of your Mercury lines, write, give a speech, plan meetings, draw a tarot card, share your truth, shake up your routine, journal, ground the energy, wear grey (to soften the energy), wear greens, metallic shades of blue or violet, patterns + denims, tap into your Mercury lines, nourish your Heart +/or Throat, explore your Mercury Gates, drink a cup of valerian root tea to slow down + mellow out, have a deep conversation, ask for and listen for cosmic messages, connect to your higher mind, meditate, nourish your nervous system, sing, bring your energy down into your body, cultivate mindfulness.

These practices are great for any time you want to connect to the archetypes + significations of Mercury.
