My Current Favorite Smoothie
I realize a winter smoothie is not for everyone, but there are ways to “warm it up”, like adding ginger and omitting frozen fruit, and for me, it’s a vehicle for food based supplementation and nutrition. I vary my ingredients but here’s what I’m into right now:
Mikuna Chocho Protein Powder
Cilantro
Dulse Flakes
Anima Mundi Liver + GB Support
Barley Grass Powder
Camu Camu powder
Schizandra
Banana
Wild Blueberries (which are higher in nutrition than conventionally grown) or Dragon Fruit
Nub of Ginger
Topped with Bee Pollen
30 minutes before this, I have about 20oz of straight celery juice. I use a masticating juicer. And, in between I take this probiotic, quercetin and triphala every morning on an ‘empty’ stomach.
