boundaries

support for healthy energetic autonomy

Your boundary need not always be an angry electric fence that shocks those who touch it. It can be a consistent light around you that announces I will be treated sacredly.

Working with boundaries support

I originally developed this workshops for “sensitives and empaths” but the truth is we are all empathic in different ways through our openness. And, this workshop provides support for protecting our vulnerabilities. It’s not about putting up armor but instead having tools and practices to not take on other energies as our own.

I invite you to utilize this course in whatever way serves you to get the most value. I would listen to the audios a couple of times to begin and see what jumps out at you. Maybe you know exactly what you want to dive into or you visit a piece of it everyday working your way through. Another option is grabbing a tool or a few and work with them for 30 days noticing what shifts or doesn’t and then try a new one.

If you’d like to inject some whimsy + have some daily guidance. Here is a 30 Days to Healthier Energetic Autonomy Deck. You can print the pages and cut them into cards; fold them and put them in a bowl, and then draw a card each day to offer you a focus.

Highly sensitive people are too often perceived as weaklings or damaged goods. To feel intensely is not a symptom of weakness, it is the trademark of the truly alive and compassionate. It is not the empath who is broken, it is society that has become dysfunctional and emotionally disabled. There is no shame in expressing your authentic feelings. Those who are at times described as being a ‘hot mess’ or having ‘too many issues’ are the very fabric of what keeps the dream alive for a more caring, humane world. Never be ashamed to let your tears shine a light in this world.

1/2 cup your favorite carrier oil (olive, avocado, jojoba, castor, etc..)

1 cup himalayan, kosher, sea, or French grey salt

MANTRA

The Mantra I use everyday for protection.

AAD GURAY NAMEH

JUGGAD GURAY NAMEH

SAT GURAY NAMEH

SIRI GURU DAYVAY NAMEH

This mantra is said to put a white field of protection around you in all 4 directions. I visualize that as I recite it with my hands in prayer at my heart center three times every morning as part of my meditation practice. You can hear pronunciation of it here. If you feel you are needing extra protection you can recite it throughout the day in your mind as well, listen to it in the background at home or while you sleep on very low.

orienting

We always want to be contained in our bodies. Take time often to check in with your feet on the ground, your breath, your butt in the seat, what you can see around you. This simple practice brings us back into our containers again and again. Give yourself a hug, squeeze your legs gently, your arms, connect in and with your body. This is your vessel. This is your container. Ground in.
