GATE 1
Pushes you toward self expression + creativity. Comes with a higher motivation to change the world for the better in some way, or at least your corner of it. You may very well accomplish this when using your Energy correctly. You may feel called to work alone. Be mindful of using your creativity solely for monetary gain as it may lessen your passion for your creative pursuits.
Be willing to explore new avenues of creativity, to innovate, to do something new. Don’t underestimate the creativity that you bring to every table. And when you need to get out of your own way and let it flow through.
GATE 2

GATE 8
This is the energy of contribution often through gathering together +/or promoting others. You may create value through your own unique contribution, by inspiring others or through marketing something or someone you believe in.
This archetype really wants to offer help, to see what they can do to make things better. You can be a voice of empowerment and forward motion, helping others to see the possibilities.
Be mindful of only committing your energy through your Strategy + Authority, there may be times when you are just there to point the way.
GATE 11
The energy of being chock full of ideas. In business this would be the one known as the “ideas mxn/womxn”. Following your Strategy + Authority will help you know which ones are meant for you and which ones you can let go or pass along to someone else.
I’ve had friends with this energy who would write a script only to find out a fairly identical idea just sold and they would feel like someone stole their idea. Ideas exist in the stream of consciousness, they are flowing out there for everyone, you just happen to have a larger than normal net for catching them. Don’t stress if one seems to pass you by. There will always be another. And remember that part of your gift is in passing your ideas along, in the right time, and when invited to share.
GATE 26
The is an energy of accumulation. You have the ability to sell a product or idea (use your powers for good) and are one to close the deal. Here you do have the energy to amass great wealth and power when in alignment. There is a balance here. One of reciprocity and also balancing your own egoic desires with healthy wants.
You can often see how to make things better even through small improvements. You have a lot to offer and while some amount of stature may feel important, you want to keep your ego in check and stay humble. Think about what you want with the greater good in mind, not just your own personal gain. Create win/win situations.
GATE 44
The energy of recognizing patterns. You can see where the trends are moving and when one might be circling back around. You have a gift for marketing and may find you excel at representing others, ie, recognizing talent or you may use your instinctive hunches for another path. Even without a Smell Cognition, this is that energy of smelling a rat, of knowing when something just isn’t right or when you can sense a trend emerging.
This may also be just a superpower you carry and doesn’t always mean you need to get involved with what you’re sensing. Be mindful also of the fear energy of this gate.
GATE 47
This is a THINKING energy. You want to figure out the puzzles. Just make sure you’re not using your mind to try to think your way into or out of your own decisions. It is an energetic gift meant to be directed outward. An energy of lightbulb moments, and realizations. Even though this energy doesn’t live in the Spleen, it can offer those lightning bolt epiphanies.
You are here to solve problems and to have the patience to allow the solution to come to you. When you are waiting, do things that feel relaxing… it’s like when you are trying to remember something and the minute you stop thinking about it, it comes to you. For you finding the calm is key. When you’re having trouble figuring out a puzzle or solving a problem, find a deep sense of relaxation and step away from it, it is here that you find the magic.

GATE 55
The energy of ABUNDANCE. The hexagram that tells us we are literally designed to be abundant beings. It is connected to the Solar Plexus Center which is emotional in nature. Our ability to co-create with the Universe is directly tied to our emotional vibration. This energy reminds us that we are supported. Always. We create in the energy frequency of that support. We want to marinate in the expectation that we are provided for. We want to transmute any shadows of victimhood and holdfast to the freedom inducing affirmation: I AM SUPPORTED.
CHANNEL 2-14
This is the Channel of the Beat. It is Co-creation with a capital “C” even though it is all Generated. It connects the power of the Sacral Center to the Direction of the Self, the ‘power skills’ to our ‘higher knowing’. Gate 2 is the most Yin of the hexagram and is the energy of RECEIVING. Of it Ra says, “Receptivity as the primal base through which any response is determined, the root of action.” We are designed to receive all of the support we need, the money and resources to realize and fulfill our purpose.
CHANNEL 45-21
This is the Channel of Money, A Design of the Materialist. It is a fully Manifested Channel and a part of the Ego Circuit. We want to be mindful, as it is connected to the Will Center, to not just power through, that we are designed to work to rest. We need to maintain cycles of rest, where we surrender and trust in the Universe. We want to take care of ourselves first and foremost, put our oxygen mask on first, so we can engage with the sustainable cycles to generate resources.

Your Midheaven is a magical astrological key to your own success, legacy + reputation. It is a concentrated point of energy at the highest placement on the day of our birth. Much like your North Node, it offers you traits and qualities to lean into. It is a gift and illuminates wisdom for how to bring awareness and work with it to align with your right path. It is the how you want to be, the talents and gifts you came to express OUTWARDLY, the impact you are meant to have, the energetic mirror of what you are here to express.
In the Placidus House system, your natural talents live in the 10th House. This also because the energetics of the MC and the 10th House line up. You can locate your Midheaven or ‘MC’ through your natal chart. It will tell you in the legend or you can look to the sign and house your MC resides in the chart.
I want to also note that when using Whole Sign Houses, sometimes your MC will fall outside of the 10th House and this too can offer us some information because it may mean that the topics of the House it does reside in become somehow important to our career + success and/or that that House becomes imbued with career/status energy in some way. So you can play with altering the House system to see if this is true for you and if it is, reading about the qualities of that House may be helpful.
